I Refuse to Call it X: Feels Weird

Of course, Twitter is weird, so it’s especially weird for me that I would have any brand loyalty at all, let alone enough to avoid calling it its new weird name, X. But here I am, I can do none other, to paraphrase and absolutely obliterate what Luther said hundreds of years ago.

The Republican Professor is on Twitter, and has been for several years. It’s @RepublicanProf, (https://twitter.com/RepublicanProf) which is as many characters as they were willing to give me at the time (I think 2018). I mainly share articles, or podcast episodes, or TRP Substack posts. So, you’re not missing much if you don’t follow TRP on Twitter. I don’t pick Twitter fights, nor do I seem to get sucked into them. I’m just there, now, so that I can keep calling it Tweeter, and every once in a while I Twit something out on it.
