What Are Your Aspirations ?
Professor : So what are your aspirations?
Student: I want to go for the MBA
Professor: [Laughs] You? You wouldn’t last 2 seconds out there. Good money though.
Student: Uh, why?
Professor: You’re 5 feet nothin, a hundred and nothin. The NBA is for big people. Tall people. Go into …business or something .
Student : [smiles] I said MBA!
Professor : NBA, I heard you. Can you dunk? I rest my case. Take the GMAT or something . Sports are for pleasure –create a company. Focus on your strengths –organization, people skills, etc.
Student : [smiles] You’ve convinced me, professor .
Professor: It’s what I do. Listen to your elders .
